I'd be curious whether they accounted for the reasonably available budgets of the survey respondents (to ensure scope of funds they would be willing to donate is not simply limited by what they "reasonably" can donate which may be inflexible regardless of the number of individuals needing help). Or was the question phrased as 'how much they would be willing to give for these scenarios - assuming money is no object'?
