Is there a reason why only the first ( https://forum.effectivealtruism.org/s/B79ro5zkhndbBKRRX/p/5nkeh7LWFYQ9YGdLS# ) of 91 sections has a audio to it?

I think having audio would make a large amount of individuals more likely to listen to more of the handbook and make it easier on others who will go through the handbook who have more opportunities to listen then to read (I.E. someone who listens to audio when driving to work, doing dishes, etc.).

If this isn't actively being done and if I'm allowed to do so, I would began to make a AI reading and upload the audio with possibly a slow scroll though the handbook to YouTube.

I'll give this post 24 hours before I began to make audio versions on the handbook and upload them to YouTube.

Hey, thanks for asking! I'm not sure if there's a specific reason — it's likely that simply no one prioritized doing it. Note that I think many of the posts in the EA Handbook besides the first one do have audio, it's just not consistent.

The Forum Team has manually enabled audio on all the posts, but some of them will require additional work from Type III Audio (who provides the AI narration), so it may take some time for them to appear on the site.

In the meantime, you're welcome to make your own audio or video versions of the posts! I think it would be great for them to reach a wider audience. :)
