Hi fellow altruists, I'm Matt - co-founder of HumaneCheck, a free app that lets grocery shoppers scan product barcodes for animal welfare grades, and nudges them toward plant-based & more humane alternatives in-store, nearby & for delivery. 

It's supported by Farm Forward and The Pollination Project.

My co-founder launched our prototype FindHumane, a database of all the humanely-certified animal products across America. We're harnessing this data and bringing it to the point of purchase so consumers can make more plant-based & humane choices -- which provides a financial incentive for food producers to enact more humane policies.
