EDIT 26.11.2025
There is now a new website that has answers pre-filled and you can use AI help to fill some of the boxes. It also skips the direct contact with the EU portal for the user, the time needed is now closer to 3 minutes!
https://act.animainternational.org/
- The European Union is accepting public input on farm animal welfare until Dec 12, 2025 - accessible here - https://myvoiceforanimals.eu/how-to-participate.
- Participating in this consultation is one of the most effective actions individuals can take to improve conditions for 149+ million animals.
- The action takes 15-30 minutes. Non-EU citizens can participate.
I'd deeply appreciate your help and, ideally, mobilizing your networks and those closest to you to also participate. This is crucial for animals in the EU and globally, as the European market shapes global trade. It's boring and - yes, it's one of the many to come - but you need to win battles to win the war. :)
More
- I wrote a short blog post with context - https://animainternational.org/blog/eu_public_consultation_2025
- There is also a website that we use to keep people informed about progress and the next steps as they arise. I encourage you to sign up - https://act.animainternational.org
- If you’re part of an animal advocacy group, sign up here to get access to a Slack space and a toolkit designed to help you mobilize your supporters

Thanks for doing this and for adding the shortcut portal.
Omg the sign up flow for this is comically bad XD, still, only took me 9 mins.
You mean The European Union's page?
Well, probably nothing made the EU more talked about, even decades of peace and cooperation, than their ability to affect the UX of an average internet user. They need to live to the expectations of their brand.
yeah
Small update - thanks to Eurogroup For Animals' insight on how to connect with the EU infrastructure, we enabled https://act.animainternational.org/ to bypass the EU portal and to have preselected answers and AI help to write input where applicable. This should substantively cut the time needed to fill the submissions.
I've edited the post to add this change.
Easy peasy! Thank you for the how-to video. Sharing with all in my network!
