The EA Berlin Uni Group hosts weekly events throughout the semester for students and young professionals that are interested in or curious about EA.

If you or someone you know  fits that description: come by! :)

Weekly Events (Wednesdays, 6pm)

We've decided to always have a topic for the weekly events, the schedule for the rest of the semester looks like this:

• 04.06.  |  The Universe, Space-Travel, and the Future of Humanity
• 11.06.  |  Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup @ProVeg
• 18.06.  |  Intro to AI as a Cause Area: "Job Offer (Humans need NOT apply)"
• 25.06.  |  EA Basics: Discussion for anyone interested in Effective Altruism
• 02.07.  |  AI Cause Area discussion
• 09.07.  |  X- and S-Risks: Risks that cause extinction or worse
• 16.07.  |  TBD: watch a movie, play some games, smth like that :)

We will start them off with a short video on the topic and then use that as a basis for discussion

EA Book Club

Starting June 4th, the EA Book Club will discuss The Scout Mindset on Wednesdays at 5pm. 

If you wanna participate, just come by or join the Book Club WA Group (general groups linked at the bottom)

The book is divided into 5 Parts* and we'll go through one part per week.
For now, the meeting location is going to be Room 27, but if the weather is nice we can also go sit in the park at the center of Campus Nord, or in the nearby student cafe "Flora"

* In the audiobook version each part is roughly 70-80 mins long at standard playback speed
