Also, Art Chad literally ate shrimp in his video, so he is clearly not agreeing with you that we should prevent them from dying.

Brother, of course EA also works towards reducing shrimp deaths. Most EAs are vegan and try to spread veganism, but decreasing the suffering of the shrimp who will be killed anyway is an efficient way of decreasing suffering in the world. To your 0% multiple choice thing, like what even is that, its just alienating, and not even accurate to any extent, a big part of EA is to adopt a scout mindset and be better at estimating probabilities and having an as accurate picture of the world as possible.

I am curious what is your alternative is to effective altruism? How do we improve the world in a better way?

I think you forgot to add the application link, I would love the opportunity to be advised on how to expand my dog walking career to new lengths!

If AGI takes on the same values as humanity as a whole, factory-farming will continue, this means it would not go well for the animals.

Good job presenting this in such a clear and concise manner. Thank you for all the great work you are doing!

Researchers simulate an entire fly brain on a laptop. Is a human brain next?

What is the implication of this for EA thinking? Does the fly that purely exists in the computer warrant moral consideration, and could we increase the overall welfare of the world by making millions of these simulations with ideal fruit-fly conditions?

They fully copied the brain of the fly, so from my understanding it should also feel pleasure and pain in theory, I think this poses a real conundrum for EA morality.

Thanks for this! I will definitely try to implement some of this helpful advice :)

Cool website!

One question: why are most of the SOTA models Claude? Is it because Anthropic is the company that releases the most data about their models? I thought that by most measures, Gemini would be the SOTA model today.

Cool project!

One point of improvement I noticed was that when it asked for zip-code you could only add American ones, I would suggest adding  an option to choose different countries! I think the platform could be especially popular with Europeans, so I would suggest focusing on adding those countries first.

Anyway, I like the platform and I feel like it has a lot of potential to do good. Good work!
